What is Direct Casting or "DC"? DC is a world where talent agents, casting directors, directors, producers, photographers, actors, and models can each achieve their individual needs and goals by STREAMLINING the entire casting process.

Each and every member uses DC differently, but each and every member is also working towards the same goal: Casting and Communicating Project Information.

Founded DC in 2007 after 25 years of working in the entertainment industry. DC realized four key facts:

1. Online casting should be streamlined and built to fit each user's needs.
2. Users in small and large markets could work from the same application.
3. All users want to work safely and securely knowing that their personal information is kept private, in addition to project security.
4. Every single user should be able to enjoy the basic benefits of an online casting network for FREE.

DC markets itself towards professional and working casting directors, agents and their talent. Focused on quality rather than quantity, DC verifies its casting directors and agents before accepting them into the DC community.

DC also realizes the importance of each individual role its members play in the entire casting process. Casting Directors need access to talent, Agents protect talent and negotiate pay rates and Talent need to be promoted and represented. That's why we made certain our casting directors only see actors, models, and voice artists who have been signed to agencies that can validate their abilities. Agents can rest easy knowing that DC only allows casting directors access to professional represented talent. Represented talent can be assured they aren't competing with both represented and non-represented talent.

DC hasn't forgotten about the aspiring actors and models of the world, or that agents need to be looking for the next "IT" talent to join their roster. Talent have the ability to set up a profile, add pictures, and create resumes, while registered agents have the ability to scout those in need of a good agent.
